An Evening at Taj MahalThe beauty of Taj Mahal can be explored throughout the day. It does not matter whether you book the ticket in morning or at evening; Taj welcomes you throughout the day. Taj Mahal stays open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, except Friday. The stunning appearance will force to hypnotize you in no time. However, there is a different charm to view the mausoleum on calm sunlight, i.e. during dawn and dusk. The silent Taj speaks a lot during these times. If you miss the chance to engulf Taj’s aroma in the evening, then you might be the most unlucky one.
Taj Mahal Changes Shade with TimeTaj Mahal is made up of a special kind of white marbles, which itself has a glow. During evening the mild sunlight is swallowed by the Taj. The prettiness changes as the Taj changes it color with time. You will be speechless to express your feelings at the sight. This is the wonder of the “seventh wonder”. However, during the entire day time, the color remains white, which makes it look like a paradisaical palace.
Taj’s Reflection in EveningAs the sun goes down beyond the horizon, the timid sun-beam enters inside the entire architecture of the gigantic dome. The Taj changes it shade and becomes a gateway to enter heaven. The reflection on the gorgeous Yamuna River seems like the Taj has just come out of the water after taking bathe. There is no time-restriction for the tourists to enjoy this epic structure.
Evening Charges applicable for TouristsTaj welcomes all with a very reasonable rate, the ticket price for an Indian resident is INR 20; where as the tickets for Foreign Tourists is INR 750. Residents of SAARC and BIMSTEC countries are charged INR 510 and children below age 15 years (Indian and Foreign) are allowed free entry. If you are purchasing the ticket, you are allowed to stay inside the Taj for the entire time period from morning 8:00 am to evening 5:00 pm.
The name of Taj Mahal itself reflects its intensity of its gorgeousness. Evening view is always been an extraordinary moment for the viewers. They frame it and make it lively for the whole lifetime. The secret of such wonder was plotted by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, who should greatly be praised all through the human history.
