Timings of Taj Mahal
The 17th century’s archaeological structure, Taj Mahal is recognized as the one of the world’s heritage site. The beautiful mausoleum is open for each and every human being all over the globe. Indian and foreign tourists can have a glance of the splendor of Taj Mahal all round the year. Shah Jahan’s creation was a replica of love and purity, so anyone who wants to experience the touch of love is always welcome to visit this place.According to the Archaeological Survey of India, a specific timing has been set for Taj visit. The elegant Taj Mahal stays open throughout the week except Friday. Previously, Monday was decided as the off day for Taj visit, however, the rule was altered. On Friday, the Taj stays open till noon for those who want to attend prayer at Taj Mahal Mosque.

Taj Mahal Timings during Day
The Taj stays open from morning 8:00 till evening 5:00, for the whole week except on Fridays. Tourists prefer the entire day to enjoy inside the majestic Taj Mahal. Tickets are available from the eastern (Shilpgram), western (near Saheli Burj) as well as southern gate of Taj Mahal from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tourists are allowed to rome inside the magnificent tomb from dawn to dusk.

For Indian residents: INR 20
For Foreign Tourists: INR 750
For residents of SAARC and BIMSTEC countries: INR 510
Children below age 15 years (Indian and Foreign) are allowed free.
Taj Mahal Timings during Night
Night time visit to Taj Mahal is a lifetime experience. Night visit to Taj Mahal is available only for five days a month. It starts two days prior to the Full Moon and ends two days after the Full-Moon day, except Friday. A maximum limit of 400 people (Indian and Foreign) is allowed per day from night 8:30 pm to 12:30 am. The total mass is divided into 8 groups each of 50, for a 30 minutes Taj view. For this exclusive night view prior booking is required and which can be done from Archaeological Survey of India, Agra. The ticket booking can be done between the timing from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, on one day advance. 25% cancellation fee is applicable for those who want to cancel the ticket.

Hi! Yes camera is allowed but to a certain limit. You can capture the outer view of Taj and its surroundings buy taking picture of the inner area is restricted.
