On Friday, the Taj stays open till noon for those who want to attend prayer at Taj Mahal Mosque.

Taj Mahal is open every day (Friday Closed) 30 minutes before sunrise up to 30 minutes before sunset. Tickets are available from the eastern (Shilpgram), western (near Saheli Burj) as well as southern gate of Taj Mahal from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Night time visit to Taj Mahal is a lifetime experience. Night visit to Taj Mahal is available only for five days a month. It starts two days prior to the Full Moon and ends two days after the Full-Moon day, except Friday. A maximum limit of 400 people (Indian and Foreign) is allowed per day from night 8:30 pm to 12:30 am. The total mass is divided into 8 groups each of 50, for a 30 minutes Taj view. For this exclusive night view prior booking is required and which can be done from Archaeological Survey of India, Agra.
